My friend relocated within the department of homeland security so we listed his home for sale. Shortly after listing, he had a friend who needed help with a place to live, We took down the listing to help him out.
My friend gave me a call a few months back to put the property back on the market. We developed a sale’s plan based off our old feedback. What happened next was truly inspirational.

His old buddies in the Border Patrol stepped up to assist. They helped modernise the home for the market. The kitchen was upgraded with pearl white granite counter-tops. The floors in the common areas were upgraded to 12×24 plank tile. Light fixtures were changed out, exterior and interior painted.

These guys, law enforcement officers helping a friend in need, made me feel like I was part of something bigger than just another sale. They could easily find more agreeable work elsewhere. However, they choose to stay in the business of helping us.

This listing was a great success. It didn’t happen overnight though. My client prepared for over three years monitoring the market, maintaining the home, shopping out updates, and preparing for the eventual sale.
