Rancho Sahuarita was established in 2001 and set out to be the ulitmate place to raise a family. I constantly hear residents saying, “there is no other place I would think of to raise kids”. The schools are highly regarded as some of the best Southern Arizona has to offer. And Rancho Sahuarita features just about everything a family could ever dream of having in their community.

Fitness Center
There is a state of the art gym complex including exercise rooms and regular fitness classes. Here’s a few of the features the Fitness Center offers,
- Cybex weight machines, free weights, treadmills, elliptical, rowing mahicines, nautilus equipment, aerobic equipment, stationary bikes, stair steppers, and more.
- A second, separate women’s fitness area
- Heated 25 meter pool with 8 lanes and a separate hot tub
- Basketball and tennis courts
The fitness center also features child care for when you are working out. This comes at a minimal fee (as of Dec 2013 / $3 per hr).
Adventure Park
Rancho Sahuarita is has an awesome park for your kids to play in. This park features,
- Country’s largest privately owned water park with toddler pool, kiddie pool, an water slides
- Pre-teen game room with gaming consoles (X-Box, PS3, etc)
- Train rides which run on weekends
- 9 hole putt putt golf course
There are also community rooms for your clubs to utilize such as boy scouts, girl scouts, or whatever your club might be. You will also find additional parks throughout the community featuring swimming pools, volleyball, hot tubs, and kid parks.
Sahuarita Lake Park
This is a 10 acre lake right next to the recreation center in Rancho Sahuarita. The lake is sourrounded by a 5 acre park featuring a outdoor amphitheater, public restrooms, and a walking path. The lake is stocked with fish weekly with trout and catfish.
De Anza Walking Trail
There is a landscaped walking / jogging path that runs the length of the development. It passes the Sahuarita Lake, the Recreation Center, and Anza School.
Regular Community Activities
The community is constantly holding activities for residents to meet up. They have a website exclusive to residents of Rancho Sahuarita where you can get access to all of the latest community events. On a regular basis they hold movies under the stars in the Adventure park and have weekly meet ups at the Rancho Sahuarita clubhouse where you can meet up with new neighbors and friends.
Shopping Center
Off Sahuarita Road is a shopping complex including all your shopping and dinning needs. There you will find several restaurants, Fry’s Market Place grocery story, and banking.
Ideal Location
Rancho Sahuarita is located just off I-19 providing quick access to the South and a short commute to Tucson.
