A 20 minute drive South of Tucson in Sahuarita, Madera Highlands features single family homes from 1100 SqFt starter homes to 4000 SqFt luxury homes. There are 200+ acres of community parks, all adjacent to old growth Pecan orchard and natural preserve.
Madera Highlands was once part of the Santa Cruz Pecan Orchard owned by FICO. This is the largest Pecan orchard in the world. Part of the old growth portion of the orchard was sold off to be developed as Madera Highlands.
Many of the original Pecan trees remain in the community giving it a unique feel in an otherwise desert landscape. East of the community is a network of nature preserves including the Santa Rita Mountain Range with 9400 ft high peak, Mount Wrightson.

- Many of the old growth pecan trees remain.

- Two parks with big grass areas for kids to play
