There’s not many other sports that are this action packed and affordable. You can see cars pitching sideways running turning laps in seconds. And the people involved in the sport are good down to Earth families.
Jerry has trusted more friends with me as a Real Estate Agent than anybody else I know. Over the years he’s personally referred millions of dollars in business to me.
This has afforded me time to travel with Jerry where I act as his media and public relations agent. Jerry sings the national Anthem at NHRA, AHCS, and other racing events. These trips have taken us to tracks all over Arizona and New Mexico.

People are incredibly friendly at the racing events. Kids run, play, and get excited to see the cars. Get a pit pass and talk to the drivers when you go. Get racecar driver autographs for the kids and a cool t-shirt or two.
Funny story about Lorne Wofford and his family. Jerry happened to be wearing one of their shirts on National TV. They always invite us over in the pits now.

All the drivers and racing families are so friendly. Jerry has a real talent with remembering names. We’re always back saying hello and chatting with them.
That says a lot in a day where sport has become so politicized and the passion seems clouded by big money interests. Sprint Car and racing is down to earth good people. People you’d expect to see across the isle on Sunday church service or at your kid’s ball game.
Make sure to check a race out. You won’t regret it. Take some ear plugs, a stadium seat / chair, and enjoy time with family and friends.
